Overview

NanoGuard is an open-source command-line infrastructure scanner. The tool itself collects zero data. It runs entirely offline with no telemetry, analytics, or network connections beyond the targets you scan.

The CLI Tool

NanoGuard does NOT collect:

Scan results or targets
Error logs or diagnostics
Usage analytics or telemetry
Personally identifiable information
IP addresses or system information

The tool operates entirely on your machine. Results stay on your machine. You can verify this by reviewing the open-source code.

This Website

The NanoGuard.app website (the page you're reading now) is a static marketing site hosted on Vercel. We collect:

Email addresses — if you subscribe to our mailing list
Basic analytics — via Vercel Analytics (page views, referrers, no personal data)

We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics.

Mailing List

If you subscribe to product updates, we collect:

Your email address (required)
Your name (optional)
Your role (optional — developer, researcher, etc.)

This information is used solely to send you:

NanoGuard product updates and releases
Security research and CVE disclosures
Updates about related Nanosecond AI projects

We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Third-Party Services

Vercel — hosting and analytics (privacy policy)
Email provider — TBD (Resend or ConvertKit)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request a copy of the data we have about you
Request deletion of your data
Unsubscribe from emails at any time
Opt out of analytics (use an ad blocker or request exclusion)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced via our mailing list. Continued use of NanoGuard.app after changes constitutes acceptance.
